WHY ARE WE SHARING THEM
Made in real sessions. Reworked for real family life.
These activities began as part of The Ranch’s outdoor-learning curriculum. They were built, tried and refined by practitioners working alongside children and young people—often those for whom a traditional worksheet or busy classroom has not felt safe or achievable.
We have adapted them so families can use the ideas without needing to recreate a formal lesson. There are clear safety notes and real learning links, but also room to move, watch, talk, draw, photograph, pause or change direction.

“Education is not something done to a young person. It is something we grow with them.”

What makes it a Ranch pack?
Choice stays visible
Every activity has more than one way in.
Care comes first
For the young person, the adult and the living world.
Learning is named
So families can see the science, language and thinking underneath.
There is no perfect finish
One noticed thing can be enough for today.

SHARE KINDLY
Free for families. Still our work.
You may print these packs and share an unaltered copy with another family for personal and non-commercial home-education use. Please do not sell, rebrand, extract pages for paid products or upload edited versions.
